Russell Hayes is the Junior Reporter and Karting Editor at Motorsport News, based in Teddington, London.
Before joining Motorsport News, Russell was a talented and enthusiastic Press Officer. With an Honours Degree and qualifications in English Language & Linguistics and Law, Russell was also the Official Race Reporter for the 2012 British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC) Northern Formula Ford 1600 Championship.
Russell’s previous work has been as the Marketing & Press Officer for The Lee Spark NF Foundation, promoting a rare but lethal infection within regional press and media.

Russell helped us with media coverage
for a charity event in August 2011. He
achieved so much in such a short time
frame. He knew who to contact and
how to sell our charity to all the local
papers. He also set a two hour live
interview with BBC Lancashire Radio
show. We are now having talks to go
forward with raising awareness of our
charity to the national press, with his
expertise we are confident that this can
be achievable.
